A recent trip to Iowa (for my mother's 90th birthday!) saw us stopping to see a few unusual items along the way. Here's Erika in Riverside, Iowa -- the "future birthplace" of Capt. James T. Kirk. She's posing with the star ship on wheels -- in the parking lot outside the Star Trek museum -- which, of course, was closed when we drove through.
